King or Queen of the flies:
I will never look like an answer that you thought you got wrong
The eraser you used was never going to erase the part of me
That is part of me, you can still see the part of me that is part of you
I will no longer be the broken branch from your family tree

The sticks & stones that you cast do break bones
It's just words,
So they say,
As long as they are words that don't
come your way

Little boys in plaid shirts
Little girls in plaid skirts
Sit in a big room with big hopes, to be just left alone.

Each day they are the butt of each joke
Each day they sit alone to eat their lunch
Each day never ends their way

Cruelty and spite are your claim to fame
King or Queen of cruel nicknames
King or Queen of being mean
King or Queen of bullying the weak

We are the weirdos and freaks
We are the geeks and dreamers
We are the ugly ducklings
We are too fat or too skinny
We have tattoos, piercings, and red hair
We are the fags and lesbians
We are all the things you hate

Your rule as King & Queen will come to an end
We will be the Actors, Singers, Poets, Painters, and Movie Maker's
We will be the Social Workers, Teachers, Doctors, and Humanitarians
We will be the the people who can and will make a Difference
