DESCRIPTION:
As part of NAMM 2014, on Jan 25, 2014, Gretsch Guitars presented the First Annual Twang-o-Rama at The Juke Joint Bar & Grill in Anaheim, CA. Eight bands did 30-minute sets over a period of six hours, representing a wide range of modern and retro roots and rockabilly styles, showcasing Gretsch guitars, amps, and drums.

It was pretty epic.

SoCal rockabilly regulars Hot Rod Trio played the fourth set of the night. Guitarist/vocalist Buddy Dughi, singing upright bassist Suzi Q, and drummer Pete Bonny have played together as a unit since 1991. Few do classic honky tonk rockabilly with more sincerity and authority.
