Elliott Smith- Pitseleh (Acoustic Cover) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 10, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Day 1 of Scottish singer-songwriter Craig Alan Hughes' week of Elliott Smith covers. For anyone who is wondering- 'Pitseleh' apparently means 'little one' in Yiddish.

"My long-promised Elliott Smith week is here! To start off we have 'Pitseleh' taken from Elliott's 1998 album 'XO'. I've always liked how this song conveys so much emotion whilst the vocals are so restrained. The quiet intensity of Elliott's performance gives you goosebumps in a way that probably wouldn't have happened if he'd been more forceful with the vocals or changed the key up a few notes to a more natural register. Hope you all enjoy this, and I'll see you on day two!"
