DESCRIPTION:
Initially, i would see and hear updates of our current disaster in the gulf and, admittedly, feel almost nothing-- numb to the sensations fluttering around my mind and body in response to such a horrific tragedy.

One day I found myself online, browsing some pics documenting the effects, a friend's song playing sweetly as a backdrop. Somehow, through the juxtaposition of the two colliding worlds it finally hit me: the sheer magnitude, the suffering of the countless animals, the far-reaching consequences-- right there and then i knew i had something i needed to say about it all: some kind of commentary speaking to bp and their utter stupidity and greed; to our collective ignorance and lack of engagement; to our dependency on and exploitation of the only place we've ever called home.
