DESCRIPTION:
A twin-engine plane crashed just south of Foley Municipal Airport Tuesday afternoon. The sole person inside made it out with only a few bruises. Police and airport officials said the twin-engine Cessna was taking off when it immediately went down near Sunset Circle and Hickory Street. Officials confirm the pilot is alive with only minor injuries. The cause of the crash is now under investigation. Foley police and fire crews are still at the scene. Police are expected to release more information later.
