A group of Russian researchers said that the first Russian-made artificial aortic valve could replace those produced by foreign manufacturers by 2017, while speaking from the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Blood Circulation Pathology E.N. Meshalkin, Sunday. The statement came after the team of researchers successfully replaced a pig's aortic valve with the Russian-made device on December 24, 2015.
