DESCRIPTION:
David Loeb: Snowsounds (2012; published by ALRY). Christine Erlander Beard, solo piccolo.
This music was recorded using Garage Band, October 2013. (NOTE: This was my first project using Garage Band and I know now I need a higher quality microphone that won't distort when playing in the 3rd octave of the piccolo range. Fortunately, those moments are few in this piece). The images are mostly random and not synched to specific moments in the music with the exception of the beginnings and ends of movements, and at one moment toward the end of the video where the piccolo suddenly jumps up into the 3rd register (which is meant to be humorous - I'm sure you'll figure that out, ha ha).
