DESCRIPTION:
Hamilton's Musical Memories choir was is made up of people with dementia and the family or friends who support them.
The Choir has a focus on fun and friendship for those with a love of music and covers a broad repetoire from traditional Scottish folk music through Country and Western to pop.
The choir came into being thanks to support from Alzheimer's Scotland, a cash donation from Hamilton Bowling club and the backing of South Lanarkshire Council, NHS Lanarkshire and St John's Church Centre (were they meet and rehearse once a week).
