Recorded 14 July 1955 [14:00-17:00] Abbott Studio, Escondido Canyon, Malibu, CA -- Jim Ed Brown [vcl solo], Roy Lanham [gt], Dusty Rhodes [gt], Speedy West [steel gt], Red Wooten [bass], Rocky Stone [fiddle], Muddy Berry [drums], Marian Lanham [percussion], John Applewhite [piano]. Producer: Fabor Robison.

Jim Ed started playing guitar for Square Dances whilst still at school and singing on local Radio with Maxine...The first break came when he entered a talent contest in Little Rock...He didn't win but he got invited to became a regular on Radio Station KLRA's Barnyard Frolic Programme...Maxine joined Jim on the show and in 1954 they were signed to the Louisiana Hayride in the Studios of which they made their First Recording "Looking Back To See"...Bonnie Joined in 1955 after Graduating from High School (1st. Recording Session 1st. August 1955)...Jim Ed, Maxine & Bonnie were active from 1955 to 1967 and occasionally in the 80's...... In 2006 they performed "The Old Lamplighter" & "The Three Bells" for the PBS Special "Country Pop Legends"...Jim Ed Recorded Solo from 1965 to 1976 and Duets w/Helen Cornelius from 1976 to 1981... Jim Ed Performed until 2015...Maxine Recorded 1968 and 1969

The Browns were Inducted into the "Country Music Hall of Fame" in 2015
