Philip Sheppard Hallelujah at C2MTL - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 12, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
Philip Sheppard performs Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah at C2 Montreal using an 18th Century Cello and a Boss Loop Pedal.

This from the C2 Site:
Fitting Philip Sheppard’s accomplishments into 100 words is a bit like trying to squeeze his cello into a violin case. A prolific composer who has scored TV, film and theatre productions, Philip has also had his virtuoso talents as a cellist featured on works by David Bowie, Scott Walker, Queens of the Stone Age, UNKLE and Pretty Lights. In 2012, he re-scored and together with the London Philharmonic Orchestra recorded the national anthems of all 204 countries that competed in the summer Olympics in London. Philip’s ability to bridge genres, media and industries is a wonder to behold, almost as much as his cello playing. You’ll see what we mean at C2MTL 2014.
