About the artists
Performances at international festivals such as the Bregenz Festival, the Proms at St. Judes in London or the Carinthian Summer and special CD recordings such as "Imperial Fanfares" on the Naxos label have helped the ensemble gain an excellent reputation. In early November, their new Christmas CD "Colours of Christmas" will be released by Ars Production (ICMA Label of the Year 2019). With Christmas sounds, the "Trumpets in Concert" do the honors at the Minoritenkirche. "A very special christmas" will be performed by the three Viennese trumpeters Gernot Kahofer, Leonhard Leeb and Manuel Lichtenwöhrer with baroque music, solemn melodies from church masses and cheerful Christmas carols.
