This was the final test match played at Trent Bridge by Phil Hughes who can be seen entering the field on 7 not out, he went on to score 81 not out and took part in the record last wicket partnership with Ashton Agar. Philip Hughes died on 27 November 2014 after being hit by a cricket ball whilst playing for South Australia against New South Wales. Sean Ruane sings Jerusalem at the start of play on the second day of the Test Match England v Australia at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on 11 July 2013. The words by William Blake, music written by Hubert Parry, bring a sense of pride to most people as the huge crowd anticipates the cricket to come. The England team enter the field as Sean sings and huge applause signals the end of this patroiotic piece.
