PHALANX

Formed in 2005, Phalanx is more than 10 years in the making, The Nucleus resides in Guitarist/Vocalist Cesar Ivan Rosas, who Months after attaining his first guitar was set on forming his first band. After many years where the search for band members proved not to be fruitful, fate brought a friendship with Hank, and with it came a mission to make a metal band and unleash it to the masses. The next musician to join was right under their noses the whole time, Cesar's younger brother Roger, who had just taken up the Bass guitar and learned Iron Maiden songs within a couple of months of playing, had just taken up the drums as well and dedicated himself to percussion duties. Longtime friend and guitar player Joe Lopez then took up the Bass, and the band was formed, initially named WARHEAD. Fate would strike again only this time not

in their favor, and a series of events during late 2005 would leave Warhead in shambles before a single show was played or a single note recorded, It would also reduce them to a trio, and this new direction warranted a new Name for the group, Thus, PHALANX, was born. Mid 2007 saw the departure of Joe Lopez, and upon realizing where his strongest talent lay, Roger returned to Bass guitar. As time went on, wounds were healed, friendships mended, and 2008 brought the return of Hank Killinger, as well the addition of Joey Bonfanti on the Drums, now a foursome, Phalanx is at long last poised to deliver their own brand of Metal
