Another Cha Cha (Peter Rauhofer's NYC Edit) - Offer Nissim!

I post this as a tribute to Peter, who passed away today 5-7-13 of a brain tumor/cancer. He will surely be missed! This was one of my favorite of his mixes although there are many others..

Peter Rauhofer (April 29, 1965 -- May 7, 2013) was a DJ, remixer and producer who formerly went under the moniker Club 69 as well as Size Queen. A native of Vienna, Austria, he is famous for a variety of his remixes including Cher's, "Believe", and a number of Madonna's songs including "Nothing Really Matters", "American Life", "Nothing Fails, "Nobody Knows Me", "Get Together, "Impressive Instant, and "4 Minutes", as well as his collaboration with Britney Spears, "Me Against The Music" and various collaborations with Janet Jackson, ("Throb," "Just A Little While" to name a few). He has also provided remixes for Whitney Houston, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Yoko Ono, Pink, Tori Amos and Mariah Carey. He is also behind the tribal house record label Star 69 and was frequently a producer of the label's releases. Many of his other mixes were WAY better than the ones mentioned (Looking For Love - Karen Ramirez, Skin - Charlotte, Get It Together - Seal), the only reason they weren't mentioned is because the artists who made the records weren't nearly as famous in the pop world, well besides Seal anyway.. In the clubs was a different story. Rest in peace, Peter.. we lost you way too soon. There will never be another quite like you.
