D-Compost debuts on Igual Recordings with the wonderful two tracker In My Head. D-Compost is a DJ and producer who spends his time between Lisbon and London. He got into dance music from a very early age thanks to his older brother. When he moved to a new town at just 13 years of age he quickly settled into life in a new school and became involved with the local radio station. Lots of DJ bookings followed and soon he got into production where he has gained worldwide recognition due to his unique style which is derived from a love of many different genres. He has appeared on some of the most well know label across the globe and we're delighted to have him on board.

The tech house induced In My Head intros with a nice classic kick and hat combi that delivers a cool rhythmic vibe for the track to build on. A rumbling deep bass line comes in and dominates the groove as the drum section gets beefed up with extra percussions and some cool snare rolls. That bassline carries the track along beautifully and will definitely hold the attention of packed floors everywhere.

Perplex sets off with a cool pacey kick drum and shuffling hat combi that creates a steady flowing rhythm. Warm deep house chords fade through and we find ourselves locked into a real special groove that makes you sway. The bassline delivers a sub rattling performance as it probes through the sounds. Sultry keys bring in a soft tone to the sound and add great textures to the deep house groove. Excellent stuff that will most definitely not disappoint.
