DESCRIPTION:
The Penetrators surf music band hailed from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They were one of the most popular and influential bands of surf music's "Third Wave", and released 2 CDs, a single, a live DVD and made numerous appearances on tribute and compilation CDs. It's a tragedy that guitarists and brothers, Spanky and Rip, died so young. In July of 1996, the quartet traveled to the Bay Area for a few shows including a live KFJC broadcast, a show at the infamous Purple Onion, and a show at the The Paradise Lounge.
