DESCRIPTION:
New York Citi Peech Boys, Produced by legendary DJ Larry Levan. This group dropped the little known groove "On A Journey". I remember when their big hit "Don't make me Wait" hit the airwaves, it was like a big 'shout' out across state lines everywhere. the doo-wap era descendants were getting together left and right, hitting street corner accapellas, about whatever they could come up with. (my place was Chicago - Bellwood / Maywood).
some were wack as hell but it didn't matter. the important thing was everybody getting together. throwing down. the start of something good.

* it has been pointed out that the images located between 2:07 - 4:04 are NOT that of the New York Citi Peech Boys, but of Chicago's own Ten City; who happens to be another favorite group of mine. this was an error and not intentional but a simply graphic arts selection error. my apologies to anyone this error may have effected.
