In this episode we take a long and detailed look at the three most popular 15-watt 1x12 valve combo amps currently on the market. We feature all of these amps on the show from time to time… and are subsequently asked to compare them. So sit back, grab yourself a refreshing beverage and join us as we get into it. This is a long one because there’s a lot of ground to cover and – as regular viewers will know by now – short and snappy isn’t really our style.

Sorry about the random black screens. Adobe Premiere is doing something weird on ourput. We did three edits/outputs whereupon we ran out of time. Hopefully it doesn’t spoil your viewing too much. Adobe, if you’d like to fix the bug, that would be great.

Confused about which amp is on?
The on-screen captions are regular, but you can also tell from G2 when looking at the board…
Blues Junior: Neither output lights lit on G2 (it’s coming out of a Humdinger on loop 10, so loop 10 will be lit)
Vox AC15: Output 2 lit on G2
Bassbreaker: Output 1 lit on G2
