David Suss has tuned his project Millions into a truly cosmic channel since 2006, sculpting a brilliant body of work across labels like Tape Drift, Blackest Rainbow, Peasant Magik, and 2:00AM Tapes. Suss opens his side with dulcet synth swells that evoke a placid sea evaporating into neon gas. Rather than rushing on from his carefully crafted scene, Millions engages each unfolding second with a composer's patient and subtle touch. Much the same can be said for Mike Haley's new synthesizer-based project Spectrum Tickets, who follows up his own awesome 905 Tapes label debut with 'Space--Time'.
