Claudio Galdes and Paul Pavey have played together for over 25 years, both as a horn section and as a duet. They met at music school, Claudio on the Jazz course, Paul on the classical course, immediately found a common musical ground which over the years has given them a profound artistic and musical understanding. Both have extensive professional carreers, Claudio as a session musician and saxophonist and Paul as a composer and multi-instrumentalist. Their eclectic range of influences travel between Contemporary Classical Music and Modern Jazz. Together in this duo, "Galdes and Pavey", fusing Modern Jazz and Classical Music they build musical landscapes and improvisations that push the narrative to the sublime.
