After recording Con la conciencia tranquila in 1997, the Élite lost the great pianist Sergio Noroña, replacing him with Pepe Rivero, who had been Issac's tecladista but who would leave a few months later to become Issac's pianist). Yaniel "El Majá" Matos joined at that point (about May, 1998)

Other than the pianists, the huge change was the gradual addition of a third timba gear - a type of masacote that Tomasito called "songo con efectos". This gave Paulito a third timba gear (in addition to presión/pedal and bomba) that he could signal at will. This incredible band represented one of the absolute peaks of the timba revolution.

Detectives and chisme hounds should pay special attention at 27:45, and again at the end, when Paulito gives a shoutouts to Issac Delgado, who was in the crowd. By early 1999, three of the musicians on stage had become members of Delgado's group.
