DESCRIPTION:
Paul Grabowsky and Sydney-based vocalist Virna Sanzone with Mirko Guerrini (saxophone) and Niko Schauble (drums) offered fascinating interpretations of traditional Italian and Sicilian folk songs, and more recent songs from the films of Federico Fellini and other modern Italian composers.

Acquacheta is Mirko Guerrini's latest project with remarkable guitarist Stephen Magnusson. They offer richly expressive interpretations of melodies by Keith Jarrett, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and some of their favourite movie soundtrack themes. They were joined by Frank Di Sario (bass) and Niko Schauble (drums).
