J.PATRON was born in Bogota, Colombia on December 31st, 1984; named "Camilo Gomez" after "Camilo Sesto", (a Spanish soul artist from the late 1970's). In the spring of 1988 J.PATRON migrated to the U.S. with his Mom and Dad. Leaving Colombia due to the economic struggle and cocaine war known as the 'Escobar Era'. California was the new home, and Hip Hop was the new Culture. J.PATRON started rhyming at the age of 15. J.PATRON is now known as an Emcee/Producer. J.PATRON. With 2 mixtapes and 2 albums (MI VIDA being a complete album done in spanish) are all available on WWW.JPATRON.COM. He has also opened for headliners such as; Yelawolf, Bishop Lamont, Guru of Gang Starr, Murs, Planet Asia, Strong Arm Steady, LMNO, and Evidence. J.PATRON is making his mark on the Latino movement, word play and his drive, as he says "Always on the move".
