Take a morsel of Pink, a dash of Alicia Keys, a dollop of Aretha Franklin, and a sprinkle of Adele and you'll have an auditory feast that embodies the powerful and alluring singer, Kristy Landry. Possessing a humorously charismatic attitude for life and a contagious smile, you'll more than likely catch this soulful vocalist playing air guitar or making Jim Carey faces. Armed with a variety of influences that span several decades, much thanks to her father Leo, a vocalist and musician himself, Kristy Landry is not just a Pop or R&B artist. She has the experience and skill to bring to life all genres of music but prefers her more natural sound which is reminiscent of a Bluesy Motown-era Diva.
Driven by her genuine love of music, the incredible feeling when she performs and the motivation to "make mama proud," Kristy is ambitious and already catching industry notice. You may have seen her featured on a live audition episode of Community Auditions Star of the Day, or on Fox news where she was featured as a "Boston Finalist" for the first season of American Idol. She has also performed at The Hard Rock Café in Boston and has sung The National Anthem supporting local sports teams. She is currently working with development specialist Patrice Peris at Bristol Entertainment whose credits include Wyclef, Jada, New Kids on the Block, Drop Kick Murphy's, and several other well-known artists. Kristy is also currently working on original music and plans to have her first single recorded this year.
