Harper Grae - "Dear Daddy" (Live at The Bluebird Cafe with Pat Alger) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 15, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
Dear Daddy is a song that started out as a letter I wrote to my father, but never sent to him. I brought the letter into a writing session with Pat Alger (Thunder Rolls, Unanswered Prayers) thinking it could be inspiration for our next song. We ended up using the letter for much of the lyrical content. After crafting music around the lyrics, Dear Daddy was born. A traditional country song, filled with vulnerability.

Father's Day isn't a happy day for everyone. If you find yourself dreading Father's Day like I have listen to Dear Daddy. I hope Dear Daddy brings you comfort in knowing that you are not alone.

Video was shot & produced by Tommy Douglas.
