DESCRIPTION:
When I wrote "In Your Pasture," I was going through some pain. I haven't always handled my emotions in the right way but for the first time in my life, I decided to let God take my pain and turn it into a song.
I enjoy country living and I was thinking of a way to connect that, God, and a song together. I then thought about being in God's pasture and how his pasture is better than any earthly pasture imaginable. So I wrote this song later to find out that there are actually several scripture references in the bible referring to pastures, one of them being Psalm 100:3. "Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture."
A lot of times life gets tough and doesn't make sense. At times it seems there's nowhere to turn, but there's Good News. God wants us in his pasture. But in order to be in his pasture, we have to step out of our pasture and walk over into his, by accepting him as our savior and asking him into our heart. He wants us to be in his pasture, will you follow him today?
