Win-Bang is an ancient name used in the old book of Zoroastrians (Awesta) for sound of instruments, as Tambour, which were played by virtuous people. The compositions have roots in Tanbour "maqam music" and categorized as Iranian-Sufi or Iranian-mystical music. Beside the beautiful compositions, improvisation is one the strong and attractive features of this ensemble.
