PARIAH

We hail from Birmingham, the homeplace of bands like Black Sabbath and Napalm Death, and the spiritual home of heavy metal. We've just started to get our shit together this year, our line up settling down, and we're starting to gig in and around Birmingham, as well as hoping to branch out to places like Stoke-on-Trent and Leicester.



We combine various metal influences to produce our own style of metal, utilising 7-string guitars on some songs, opting for the standard guitars on others.

Heavy riffs, dark bass line, rapid-fire percussion and Jon's throaty roar all come together for an urgent and exciting noise. Within their well-thought out direction they have written some excellent material with suitably grand and dark lyrics and effective tempo shifts, and at the Factory Bar delivered their set with the intensity and energy their sound deserves."



Chop Music - "Solid set comprised five original songs; Avarice, Vengeance, The Flood, Monkey Juice and Abyss. Timing was good throughout, they are tight as a band and write heavy songs with good riffs. Young band with lots of potential"
