"DeadEnd, a three piece metal band hailing from the South Wales valleys, who at the ages of 13, 14 and 15 are creating waves in the local music scene and are set to do the same nation wide. Playing heavy metal with elements of rock, thrash and speed metal, these guys have shown you can't put an age on talent. A force to be reckoned with, DeadEnd pride themselves on an energetic and brutal live show, that not only confirms their place amongst the current music scene, but gives them potential to be around for a very long time."

DeadEnd began over four years ago by two brothers from a small village in South Wales. At the age of 10 Callum began learning the basics of guitar while his younger brother Elliott, aged just 9, started learning the drums. Both excelled in their lessons and soon began writing their own material. Being brought up on a host of bands such as Metallica, Pantera, Machine Head and Lamb Of God, it was evident the style and standards were set from an early age. As months passed they improved and gained in confidence until the played their first gig, outside their house, in front of 35 people. It was the catalyst to progress.

Then, at the ages of 12 and 11 respectively, Callum and Elliott opened with a 20 min slot at their local venue, 'The Pop Factory', to a full house. A headline show at another local venue soon followed and DeadEnd had already built up a small following. More gigs soon arrived all attracting positive interest, with a memorable gig being played to open the first ever 'Fight Night' show with local artists such as Chaos Trigger, ill System, Panel and Johnny Mental.

Their drive and determination allowed them to play shows all over South Wales and even the legendary TJ's in Newport, a packed out show to over 500 people. This gave them a wealth of experience and a desire to progress. And progress they did, firstly, supporting ill System on their last ever uk appearance, a return to the now distinguished 'Fight Night' shows and finally winning the 'Band Of The Year' competition for under 18s still only at the ages of 12 and 13. If 2006 was a good year for DeadEnd, 2007 had a lot to live up to, and it started well.

DeadEnd's first show back after the seasonal break was again part of the 'Fight Night' series and after critical acclaim, were invited back in March as part of a showcase of local talent. It was at this point another breakthrough came to light. The addition of Mathew Morgan on bass guitar brought a whole new dimension to the band, playing with the same drive, energy and commitment that confirmed his place amongst the group. The march show proving to be extremely prestigious, especially the interest and support given from a major uk record label and other respected artists.

DeadEnd's journey continued into the summer with a special opening slot at the Anglesey motorbike festival in front of hundreds of people. A show that features their first music video displayed on their website and YouTube. Most recently, the record label interest brought them to London, England, for the most memorable gig of their time. 'The Underworld' club in Camden was the stage where DeadEnd now hold the record for being the youngest ever band to have played there. Most recently, the band have performed at the Cardiff International Arena as part of the Ogfest event.

Now, with their fan base becoming stronger and stronger with each gig, fast and fresh songs, and an ever increasingly energetic live show, DeadEnd go from strength to strength. The band pride themselves on their own material, and the constant desire to prove themselves amongst a world of animosity and non believers, keeps them on the offensive. With the inspiration of their heroes like Metallica, Pantera, Machine head and Lamb Of God, they aim to keep metal alive. Defenders of the faithkeepers of the Metal.
