GROSSER BRAHMA is part of the music and performance project "GOETHE-GOES-POP" by Andy Orlando and VJ Vanessa.

The PARIAHS are members of the Pariah caste in Hindu society. They were outlaws by reason of a religious or social delict. Nevertheless Goethes Pariah finds his way to GOD independent of conventions and traditions. This poem is a prayer to the ONE beloved. -

"Mighty Brama, now I'll bless thee! 'Tis from thee that worlds proceed! As my ruler I confess thee, For of all thou takest heed. All thy thousand ears thou keepest open to each child of earth..." ----

Die PARIAS waren in früheren Zeiten aufgrund religiöser oder sozialer Vergehen aus den indischen Kasten Ausgestoßene. Goethes Paria findet seine Würde wieder, indem er - losgelöst von Gesetzen und Konventionen -, seinen eigenen Weg zu Gott findet.
