BEM VINDOS AO MYSPACE OFICIAL DE PARANORMAL WALTZ. No seio do METAL Nacional, são escassos os apoios as bandas, aliados a uma certa escuridão social preconceituosa, e também algum compadrio em relação a alguns estilos musicais; É pois natural, a fraca motivação dada a certas bandas, no entanto, sobrevive uma minoria na qual prevalece a enorme vontade de manter a “Chama viva”. Em Março de 1992, Pedro Miguel (guitarra), Luís Fontes (bateria) e Paulo Baltazar (baixo) juntaram-se, na tentativa de dar o seu melhor no “METAL” Português. Em Abril, José Miguel adere ao projecto, ocupando o lugar de vocalista, atribui-se ao projecto o nome de “UNDERTAKER”. Em Junho desse mesmo ano, devido à necessidade de uma segunda guitarra, João Miguel integra-se no grupo, ficando assim a formação completa. O grupo ganha consistência e em Setembro de 92 surge o 1º trabalho de estúdio “Senile atrophy”. Começam a ser considerados como uma boa banda Thrash-Death metal, fazendo lembrar Kreator nos seus primórdios. Após uma boa fase de concertos vieram as divergências pessoais que resultaram na expulsão de Paulo Baltazar e saída de João Miguel em Março de 93, ficando a banda reduzida a três elementos novamente. Durante mês e meio, a banda passou uma fase menos boa, apenas a enorme força de vontade, e o facto de acreditarem no seu trabalho, evitou que os UNDERTAKER se juntassem ao leque já extenso de bandas extintas. Após uma procura de novos elementos, é recrutado Ricardo Amorim para a segunda guitarra e enquanto Rui Rodrigues iria ocupar-se do baixo, e das cinzas de UNDERTAKER surgem sob o nome de PARANORMAL WALTZ, cada vez mais forte e mais brutais, com entradas no campo do Death metal. Seduzidos pelas sonoridades do Death, Black, Doom e por melodias góticas, pôr-se-iam a caminho de encontrar um som que agradasse a todos os elementos. Depois de meses de árduo trabalho surge então gravado nos Edit estúdios, em 94, quatro temas que dariam origem ao segundo trabalho da banda intitulado “Church of torments”. Nesse ano foi a banda revelação, melhor demo do ano, vendeu acima das 5000 copias feito único em Portugal em relação a demos. Em fins de 94 assina com a monasterium records (editora de um dos elementos de moonspell), um contracto que viria ser um fiasco, pois só serviu para levarem o Ricardo Amorim para moonspell, após esse feito o contracto foi anulado, isto em Junho de 1995. Passado alguns meses, e com novo guitarrista Nuno Gonçalves, a banda entra em estúdio para gravar o seu 1º trabalho em CD , intitulado “ In the name of tranquility…”,este mini CD é lançado em 96. Diana deixa a banda em 96 e é substituída por Tiago Loureiro nas teclas. Em 97 grava o seu 1º álbum, mas problemas com a editora Non Nobis atrasa o seu lançamento, a banda fica presa sem poder editar o trabalho durante 5 anos, durante este período Luís Fontes e substituído por Pip Gonçalves na bateria. Presentemente a banda prepara-se para gravar o novo material este ano de 2007, após um longo jejum estão de volta mais fortes do que nunca e decididos a recuperar o tempo perdido, derivado a factores alheios aos PARANORMAL WALTZ. Within the National METAL, there is little support the bands, combined with a certain darkness social prejudice, regarding some musical styles; It is natural, given the low motivation to certain bands, however, survives in which a minority to prevail enormous desire to maintain the "Flame alive."
