DESCRIPTION:
Came back to substitute for the chorus class. I used to come to sing during our lunch break. Ms. Evans the chorus director told me to audition for the Hawaii State Select Choir. I was a bass and they needed the bodies.

Dr. Manzo was the guest choral director from Eastern Washington University. He singled me out at the rehearsal and said he liked my enthusiasm! I felt so encouraged that I went to EWU to major in music. One of the many mentors who passed on their 'light' to me.
