Jenaro "Jay" Vadell and Hector "Sito" Santiago collectively known as the

Freestyle Music Duo PAIN were born in the poor city of Camden,N.J. Jay

and Sito over came the odds and chose music as their ticket away from

the hard life that surrounded them. Meeting in Junior high School they

formed a friendship that would be the foundation for PAIN. After wowing

audiences and friends in local talent shows under their first stage name

Fire and Ice, they matured and honed their craft later changing

their name to PAIN a acronym for Persevering Against Immense

negativity.

PAIN first exploded onto the scene with their debut single "I Feel It In

My Heart" From the Tazmania Records Freestyle compilation Vol. 2. Fueled

by the success of PAIN's single the compilation went on to sell 50,000

copies in its first weekend of release. PAIN continued to release more

than a dozen songs with Tazmania Records winning the praise and

admiration of their peers and fans alike. They have performed with many

popular and respected and legendary artists such as Stevie B, Lisa

Lisa, Covergirls, Expose, TKA/K7, Lil Suzy, Pretty Poison, George

Lamond, Noel, Coro, and Hip Hop Legend Rob Base. All of these groups found

success on the pop dance charts. PAIN has also gained an international

fan base in places as far and diverse as France, Germany, Brazil, and

Spain.

PAIN has garnered the praise and respect of the Freestyle Music

community when they were chosen to perform at the 2008 freestyle Music

Awards. They were the only new group invited to perform among the legends.

PAIN was chosen as being the best representatives who embodied the

future of freestyle. PAIN was also honored with a nomination for a

Freestyle Music Award. They won on behalf of their highly praised

independently released full length cd "No More Tomorrow". Written,

Arranged, and Produced by PAIN the CD has been very well received and has

been called everything from ground breaking, to a masterpiece.

PAIN has also written songs for many other artist in the Freestyle Music

Community. Recently PAIN has now started to help other artists under

their own Fire and Ice Entertainment imprint.

PAIN has also been very active in humanatartian efforts. They have

donated performances and time to do fundraisers for victims of violence,

fires and other tragedies.

PAIN is now working on releasing Legacy, a Collection of their musical

achievements and Ascension a compilation of new music from up and coming

artists.
