DESCRIPTION:
Released in July 1904 here is "Ragtime" Bob Roberts and Albert Campbell on an early 2 minute Edison black wax cylinder recording of "An Interrupted Courtship On The Elevated Railroad". This is one of only three Edison cylinders that featured Roberts and Campbell recording together. It's a fun cylinder about a gentleman trying to say all the right things to his girlfriend on the Elevated Railroad and he keeps getting interrupted in a funny way throughout their journey. I played this on one of my Edison Fireside phonographs with an oak horn. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for stopping in for a visit.
