Bio:

"I still remember, those 5 seconds before my first gig. Waiting behind the curtains. The adradeline going through my veins, the steps towards the microfone and the crowd in front of me... I was sold!

Singer, songwriter, and musician Kevin Oxter (10-11-1985) began honing his singing and guitar skills at the age of 16 when he was playing in different bandprojects. After graduating from highschool he decided take his original songs to the city to give music a serious try. There he got inspired by many great musicians and developed himself as a talented songwriter.

In 2009 Kevin Oxter released his first EP "Two Nights And A Song". Songs like "Graduated Superman" and "Spain is not that far" got beloved by fans for their freewheeling melodies and earthy charm. After a few months Kevin decided to go with his guitar for one year to Australia.

"It felt like something I had to do. I had to take a distance from the familiar musician I was for all those years. I wanted to rediscover myself, getting a new vision on music that was not only about "making it", but more about the core of music itself and how to touch people's soul."

With a head full of inspiration and songs Kevin Oxter went back to his country to work further on his music. He played this summer with his band on a couple of festivals, played at the show "Evers staat op" at "Radio 538" and wrote together with the Amarican Songwriter "Nate Campany" (Ilse de Lange, Backstreet Boys and Mat Kearney) on his songs.
