Practicing for my concert with the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra next Thursday August 13, 2015. I hope someday this beautiful concerto will be standard repertoire for double bassists, as Koussevitzky and Bottesini #2 now are. Thank you to Thomas Martin for making the first recording of Bottesini #1, and for producing on International Edition the only urtext edition that is widely available.
