DESCRIPTION:
ТARAKANY! is one of the most successful and long-existing punk rock
bands in Russia.

TARAKANY! had started in 1991, so during all this year the band
celebrates its 20th birthday. During these 20 years TARAKANY! realeased 13 long-playing albums, numerous singles, splits and compilations. During their Russian tours TARAKANY! several times covered all 10.000 km from the west border of the country to the far east. In Russia, European countries, Japan TARAKANY! shared the scene with such bands as NOFX, The Monsters, Apocalyptica, Backyard Babies, Toy Dolls, Monster, Magnet, Agnostic Front, MC 5, Skatalities, Sex Pistols, Toy Dolls, Stranglers, Misfits and Exploited.

In 2005 TARAKANY! were invited as a special guests to Marky Ramone
European tour "Ramones night tour" and perfomed with success in
Italy, Swiss, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria and
Holland.

In 2006, in Germany on ANR music was released a joint split with
popular Moscow ska-punk heroes Distemper.

In 2011 TARAKANY! return back to Europe with a tour "Rockets from Russia
over Europe" - best songs in their 20 years career, original cover-versions,
fifteen shows all over Central Europe!
