Fora de manter uma imagem de superiores ou donos da razão, o grupo propagandeia pela liberdade de AUTO-GOVERNO, de uma organização mutua longe e livre de influência autoritária.
O nome da banda também relata fatos bem propícios e suas letras expressam fatos e histórias do nosso cotidiano.
Apoiamos qualquer movimento seja ele; anarquista, pacifista e ate mesmo terrorista contando que haja coerência e sinceridade em seus atos.
Repudiamos qualquer tipo de ignorância seja ela;política, militar, religiosa entre várias outras.

Orininally from the satelilite-city of Ceilândia-DF, the band Os Maltrapilhos, persist since March of 1994 making a Punk Rock nourished by revolt and hate against the atrophy and conformity of the human rationality. Far from keeping a position of superiority or owners of the reason, the group propagates the liberty of self-government, the fight for a society free from prejudice and from authoritarian influence. This bands thematic approach varies between protests, denunciations and the nothing brilliant societys daily life.
For a long time the band counted on housemade records of rehearsals,which can distinguished a demo tape with the same name of the band, that contains one side recorded live and other side from a rehearsal, from that tape it was extracted the material used in spreading. In 2006, they launched their first CD, totally independent, entitled Desemprego-Desespero. The accomplishment of the CD had the support of many friends and it is made up of fourteen tracks of the most brute punk rock, influenced by national and foreigners bands, such as: Cólera, Restos de Nada, Replicantes, Desakato à Autoridade, Delinquentes, NxAxDxA, Desordeiros, Exploited, Mata Ratos, IxRxA, Lama, Chaos Uk, and son.
