PUBLISHED:  Dec 07, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Recorded at The London House in Chicago on July 27 & 28, 1961.

Oscar Peterson (p)
Ray Brown (b)
Ed Thigpen (ds)

This is a version of Oscar Pettifords "Tricotism" played in the original key of Db.
The melody of the bridge differs slightly from Pettifords original 1956 recording with Lucky Thompson and Skeeter Best. Pettiford himself used three slightly different melodies for the bridge. This Peterson version is the most widely used variation.
