You may know R&B singer EC for his stunning vocals on the Soundbwoy Ent track ‘Never Wanna Say Bye’ (2006) which reached number 18 in the national charts and enjoyed phenomenal success across both urban and pop media outlets.

EC started out showcasing his beautiful vocal talents over ten years ago performing solo at high-profile venues in London. He was so popular a mere two years later he joined a 5-part harmony group called Syndicate. The group toured together for four years and were always well received.

Next came a fateful meeting in an East London studio with hip hop producer Prophecy who merged hip hop with EC’s smooth vocals to give him an edge and the final ingredient in his artistic mix.

At the same time EC met another emerging artist, Final Element who had the vision to be ahead of the game by already laying the foundation for then record label batcisum they proceeded to collaborate on several tunes. They built up a musical rapport and a strong friendship.

Final element offered ec the opportunity into business together, setting up their own independent record label and studio, Cisum Entertainment Ltd, through which he has distributed over 20,000 units of his album ‘Scratching the Surface’ (2004).

The pair released the widely acclaimed mix CD ‘Back 2 Basics: Volume 1’ in 2008 which shifted over 25,000 units and are about to embark on the first release from there record label called YOURE NOT ALONE by finalelement ft EC CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ON ITUNES AN WWW.CISUMENT.COM.

Through this interesting collaboration of the two artists and business partners, EC will once again be riding high. This time though, it will be on his own terms – Going Against the Grain.
