Lyrican

From the U.K to the U.A.E. and now on to the U.S, Manchester-born rapper Lyrican is crossing borders in every sense of the term. After winning a music competition at 16, Lyrican was thrust into the Hip Hop scene at full speed. 2 years later he was the first Manchunian artist to tour the U.K., opening to sold out arenas for legends like Jay-Z, Wu Tang, 50cent, Busta Rhymes and Eminem.
A string of mixtapes soon followed: "0161", "Manchunian Candidates" (a collaboration with rapper Hoodman) and "Inception" during which he was signed to E11 Entertainment and made part of their 'Global Citizens' movement. He has since become the 1st U.K. artist to be taken on by mixtape heavyweight DJ Drama who will host the new "Luigi Mixtape: This Is Not A Game" released oct. 3rd 2011, named after Lyrican's alter ego.
In only 5 years Lyrican has already made the history books a few times over and with an album set for release in 2012, his hunger for international fame reaching famine Lyrican's eruption onto the global scene is bound to reach apocalyptic levels.
