You real ones know how to find us and know how to communicate right? A little more than "thanks for adding us and being a fan dude, we love all our fans here on My SpAce so much, we're on twitter as well man so come to our Facebook and see how many friends we have"

SENDING US MESSAGES ASKING US TO CHECK YOUR MUSIC OUT VIA THIS MY SPACE IS WASTING YOUR TIME. go read the ORGAN MYSPACE PAGE instead

THIS IS NOT OUR MAIN MY SPACE PAGE - IF YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE THEN GO TO THE ORGAN MY SPACE PAGE, YOU WONT GET ANY RESPONSE HERE, THIS IS A SECONDARY MY SPACE PAGE and a slice of our old history. Better still go to ORGANART.NET

To keep up with what we're doing and thinking and everything that's going on with Organ and ORG Records go to the Organ My Space page and tune in to the blog there, this is only a secondary My Space page, if you want to communicate then the Organ page is where you find us

ORG Records was something that evolved out of the UK Underground fanzine/punk/metal/hardcore/alt.rock/prog counter culture of the late 80's - and more particularly out of ORGAN ZINE

ORGAN ZINE started life as a messy handmade fanzine back in 1986 here in London (and it's still going strong today, not so messy now). Along the way ORGAN evolved first in to a cassette label with bands like Cardiacs, Ring, Bolt Thrower, Sabbat, Atom Seed, Wolfsbane, Webcore, Ozric Tentacles, Civilised Society? and then in 1994 full on CD producing/vinyl pressing record label called ORG.

We like to do things our own way though, we make our own rules (and we break our own rules). Many a fine band have made their first moves via ORG Singles or tracks on our compilation albums (as well as the many many debut gigs in London for many fine bands on bills at ORGAN shows). We're not really interested in our past though - ORG is always about the next bands, the new bands, the things that are exciting us now (doesn't mean we're not proud of our past though oh yes we love out back catalogue -

Back catalogue includes releases from CARDIACS, PURE REASON REVOLUTION, IMPERIAL LEISURE, MY VITRIOL, LOUIS LINGG AND THE BOMBS, HERZOGA, THE SMEARS, A SECRET SOCIETY, LEAVE THE CAPITAL, SPIRITWO, GENE SERENE, OUR LIVES, SAINT SILAS INTERCESSION, EVERYTHING MUST GO, MAP, ANGEL CAGE, ATOM SEED, BEATMOLLS, BREED 77, BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE, CAY, COPTIC RAIN, CYNICAL SMILE, CHARLIE'S ANGELS, CHEESECAKE TRUCK, CUBAN BOYS, DONE LYING DOWN, DREAM CITY FILM CLUB, EVERYTHING MUST GO, GENE SERENE, GLOBAL NOISE ATTACK, GOG MAGOG, HUGE BABY, INAURA, LATCH, LITTLE GIANT DRUG, MONSOON BASSOON, MUY FEO, PORNORPHANS, REMOTE CONTROL, THREE CHILDEN OF FORTUNE, RHATIGAN, SACK TRICK, SEA NYMPHS, SLEEPY PEOPLE, SONIC BOOM BOYS, STOOPI, SUNLOUNGER,THE ONCE OVER TWICE, TWIST, YOUR HIGHNESS and lots more.

Some of the bands who have made their very first or very early moves via out almost legendary ORGAN RADIO serries of compilation albums include 65DAYSOFSTATIC, SIKTH, I-DEF-I, PULKAS, KING PRAWN, LOST PROPHETS, EARTHTONE 9, SIKTH, CORTIZONE, MIOCENE, CHARGER, SKINDRED, ONE MINUTE SILENCE, AEROBITCH, RAGING SPEEDHORN ah, there's been loads, we'd be here all day listing them.)

Want to work with us? Well good, here's a few points to save you a little time - first off your music really has to excite is and inspire us and your heads need to be somewhere near the same place as ours are - we are not here to be used by you as nothing more than a career launch and we do not deal in "product", there's nothing more depressing that bands who use soulsucking words like "product" - we are not anti music business, we just thin kit could be run in a far better way. We put out exciting music, music made by people who are as passionate about what they do as we are about what we do, not we do not put out "product" by people who want to sound like all the others and be like al lthe others - we don't have a "sound" here at ORG, we've always gone out of our way to make sure you don't know what an ORG release wil lsound like - we are not a "this" label or a "that" label, we'd soon get bored with being a one genre lebel. If you feel you have something we should hear then get it in the post - if you have to ask us for an address or you can't work out where to send something then you failed the first test, if you don't like what we're saying here then we won't like each other anyway. Don't ask us to come listen to something on line, we do listen to lots (and lots) of stuff on line, mostly when we've heard or read something good about a band and we want to know more - listening to quick bites of bands on line really doesn't give us a decent picture though (and you're probably the 57th band ot as us in the last hour anyway). One more thing, we're really not interersted in bands who never want to gig or don't know how to get a gig or who can't be bothered to run a website properly or who are going to let us release something and not bother being honest enough to promote it - we know we're going to lose money on bands now and again, that's the risk you take running a label, we do mind when a band doesn't put in the time effort and energy, when a band doesn't seem to care. if you want to send in something then feel free, if you don't then that's fine, the choice is yours.
