This was recorded in a small room on the Upper East Side of Manhattan using electronic drums and no amplifiers. To my recollection each player had headphone monitors to hear and the recording was done with a real-time audio cd recorder. - no overdubs.

This was not done for cvlt purposes. It was so the neighbors wouldn't complain about noise - a quintessential Manhattan experience.

The recording was made because we were writing the song. This was a practice. This is a practice recording. The final version of this song appeared on a split with Old One and was released on Oppressive Sound System Records in 2010.

The final version is quite different from this.
