"My Soul, Your Beats!" was recorded by Japanese singer Lia and used as the opening theme of the Anime series Angel Beats (エンジェルビーツ!), which aired in Japan in 2010.

A split single was released of "My Soul, Your Beats" and the "Brave Song" from the series, which reached #3 on Japan's Oricon charts!

In the Anime series, the main character Otonashi dies and loses his memory. He now finds himself in some sort of afterlife limbo high school, where he joins a group who wants to fight against god because there life was so unfair...
