DESCRIPTION:
I can't even really put it to words what it feels like to lose a parent...To sit with one of the people who created you as they are going through immense pain from a terminal illness and all you can do is hope, pray, manifest, that their pain will subside and they will get better. And at some point when the pain is too much to tolerate you tell the person you Love so much but can't stand to see them in pain any longer that it's okay, it's their choice if they no longer can fight you understand and you strive to be strong as they make their way back to the source.
I wrote this in a time when I really was going to give up on Music, I was ready to focus on drawing and painting and I just happened on the Slaughterhouse track and it sparked the lyrics, I recorded it while knocking out a Big B commercial and it sat for quite sometime, Today I heard it for the first time in about 3 months and I thought lemme put together a little video for it as I was waiting for some elements to be sent for another project I'm working on for a client. It's a quick cut, no color correction and such but it speaks to the rawness I still feel. Striving to do my best is the most sincere way I can honor my Father's legacy and at the same time allow him to continue living through me as I will through my seeds.
