The Band, from their Facebook description: "Ever since its creation in 1998, the band always showed their ability to write some surprising material with diversity and maturity pushing music boundaries far beyond traditional black/death metal. Through their powerful music and aesthetic, Emptiness wants to bring back all values to nothingness!

After the release of a couple of demos and many gigs, the band released its first album in 2004 "Guilty to Exist" on Painkiller records (CD / LP version), and toured some time after to promote its material. Emptiness has gradually evolved into becoming a reference in the belgian Underground Metal Scene. In Winter 2007, Emptiness took the style of their first underground album to a new level of musicianship and efficiency: the "Oblivion" album was recorded, and released a few months later on Agonia records.

Soon after, the band gathered in their own recording studio (Blackout - Brussels) to give birth to a new album called "error". Once again, the band managed to shape some unexpected material while being faithful to their own original concept. Combining both traditional influences rooted in the early 90's euro death metal scene and their inner darkest feelings, the band created a devastating and disturbing "beast".

Willing to conquer new territories with this new opus, the band has now decided to ally with Dark Descent Records (USA)."
