Tobago stakeholders are expressing concern over the "looming crisis" facing the business community after it was announced that the Super Fast Galicia will be recalled.

Tobago Chamber Chairman Demi John Cruickshank expressed his disappointment over the removal of the cargo vessel at a Joint Press Conference on Monday afternoon.

He said the recall will not only affect Tobago businesses, but all Tobagonians.

Mr. Cruickshank also said they won't be accepting a barge as a temporary fix to the Cargo Ferry situation.

He also made it very clear that they won't be heading to Trinidad for any meetings on the matter.

The Tobago Chamber Head also warned that the lack of a cargo ferry may result in private sector employees being sent home.

The Super Fast Galicia is to be taken off route on Good Friday.
