OMISSION is a 5 piece outfit from the Netherlands playing a blend of hardcore with catchy rock riffs, not unlike THE BRONX & THE SUICIDE FILE. Founded in the summer of 2003 as a four piece, the band recorded a demo which was released in the beginning of 2004, received rave reviews, and resulted in a 7” vinyl pressing with the help of Reflections Records. After a period of extensively playing shows throughout the Netherlands and writing new songs, OMISSION recorded their first full length “Refuse Regress”, which was released by Reflections Records in June 2005.

Throughout its existence, the band felt the need for an additional guitar player, but could never find the perfect fit. Luckily by the end of 2005, they found their perfect second guitar player in “stage animal” Pitter, and from then on continued as a five piece.

February 2006, OMISSION was able to support MODERN LIFE IS WAR on their European Tour, playing shows in ten countries for three weeks straight. With this successful tour, OMISSION quickly gained widespread exposure throughout Europe, and shortly thereafter was able to support STRETCH ARM STRONG on a small trip abroad in April 2006.

In May 2006, the band parted ways with drummer Jan, and found a replacement in Robert (ex-Uppercut). After playing loads of shows, recording 3 songs which were only released on the internet, OMISSION called it quits in june 2007. But after only a few months the urge to shred couldn’t be held back any more. With a more mature way of songwriting and a new drummer (Riekus, Antillectual), OMISSION recorded 4 brand new songs which will be released in the near future.

You better be ready for it.
