This was part of a PHOENIX project of Peruvian Baroque Music, filmed by Nathan Lifshitz and recorded by Eliahu Feldman on 07-10-2009 at the Abu Gosh Festival, Israel. Our hearty thanks to them.

The text of the song tells the story of an African who was captured, separated from his mother and brought as slave to Peru.
