whatup myspace peeplez!?! its ya boy OMEGA RENAISSANCE REDD here to give you a brief insight on who i be and what or why it is i do what i do. first of all i´ve been doin this rap shit 4 a minute now, and to be honest wit you i´m kinda impressed wit it so far, and just so you understand clearly i dont do this shit 4 da fame, artist contracts, or none of dat bullshit i do this shit becuz i can and not only dat its what i like listenin to, so you wont find me ever tryin to cater to nobodys negative opinions, if you like what you hear cool thankx 4 da support, if not it was´nt meant 4 you anyway. i rep CROWN JEWELZ (to da Fullest my nicca) which has 3 other members besides myself: theres Harv Dent which is from harlem, NY then theres Big U which from da bronx, NY and then theres Bilal da Golden Child which is from baltimore, MD. which is a manifestation of ALLAH´s knowledge, wisdom and understanding. we all walk peaceful pathz but carry a warriors sword and shield to fend off any opposites dat oppose our movement. da name OMEGA REDD was bestowed upon me by a good friend out of brooklyn named NemRock sometime around the year 2003, i opted to add RENAISSANCE becuz it defines new birth and from any new birth (whether phyiscal, mental or spiritual) which it goes threw stages of development i feel representz da state of HIP HOP nowadayz. I´m very pro black (and dat does´nt mean i have prejudices towards any other) but da blackman and woman nowadayz have a veryveryvery bleek understanding of themselves and their culture which has to be mended starting wit myself, or him or her for dat matter. Hip Hop has brung alot of positive change for the blackman in this society but also a few negative side effectz such as the likes of people other than blacks wanting to be or using da N-word for braggin purposes or street cred, etc. DAT SHIT IZ A DEFINITE NO-NO!!!!! i repeat DAT SHIT IZ A DEFINITE NO-NO!!!!! itz hard enuff 4 black people tryin to identifie or project a solid image wit so many others attempting to confuse it. other than dat datz me ya boy OMEGA RENAISSANCE REDD holla!
